Melquiades Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Txanton in the 29th minute of the match. Luis Txanton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Urdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Melquiades Urdin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Rubio in the 41st minute of the match. Melquiades Urdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Rubio's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Urre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melquiades Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Rubio in the 54th minute of play. Feliberto Lluc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Dario Garaona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astica AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ciatico FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Astica AFC's Dario Garaona got a free kick in the 60th minute. Gabriel Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Urre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Betadur having to interfere. Ciatico FC's Alvaro Betadur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Platon in the 81st minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Astica AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Tartalo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Cugat in the 91st minute of play forced Astica AFC's goalkeeper Melquiades Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ciatico FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! Ciatico FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
