The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidro Chico was the one to do the kick off. Marcellus Iverson made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Ismael Tanio sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, g.brown's Placido Bartolome got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Baldomero Esdras's late challenge caught a g.brown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacinto Peter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Abeita in the 65th minute of play. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind g.brown's goalkeeper Marcellus Iverson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in g.brown's zone, Ismael Tanio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcellus Iverson came out of the goal and Ismael Tanio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Tanio got free with Marcellus Iverson in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
