The supporters of Zenteno AFC booed when Guiñazú AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalwood Reiter didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Bermund in the 38th minute of play forced Guiñazú AFC's goalkeeper Benigno Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Sendoa lost his temper 41 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 40th minute, one of Guiñazú AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guiñazú AFC. When the match had been going on for 42 minutes, Zenteno AFC's Braulio Carlomagno got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Benigno Oto. 46 minutes into the match, Guiñazú AFC's Dalwood Reiter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Mendez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romulo Bermund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Benigno Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rufus Kaine to strike the kick off in the second half. Cleto Marcones blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benigno Oto having to make a save. Romulo Bermund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benigno Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Argi in the 57th minute of play. Dalwood Reiter struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Mauro Cresencio made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cleto Marcones. Zenteno AFC's Severino Mendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rufus Kaine in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute, Dalwood Reiter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Carlomagno in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Braulio Carlomagno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Guter in the 74th minute of play forced Guiñazú AFC's goalkeeper Benigno Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Marcones in the 76th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rufus Kaine kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Severino Mendez. That made the score 1-1 in the 78 minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Zenteno AFC's Romulo Bermund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benigno Oto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Benigno Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Carlomagno, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
