Spectators: 7073 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geronimo Milian started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Antonio Abancens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mister Dolphin FC and the East Tandil Union players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aureliano Txindoki kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Alonzo Ihintza came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Mister Dolphin FC's Marcos Romildo. But to his dismay, Marcos Romildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alonzo Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Milian in the 17th minute of play. Cleto Lucila scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alonzo Ihintza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Reynaldo Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Tandil Union's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Toribio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Uzuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the game, Rogelio Pello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mister Dolphin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave East Tandil Union the free kick. After 32 played minutes Mister Dolphin FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Pello. Jörg Waller kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Agustin Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. East Tandil Union's Alonzo Ihintza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Romildo in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Regis was the one to do the kick off. East Tandil Union's Agustin Valiente got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hugo Regis managed to get in a good position for a shot. East Tandil Union's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Regis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Uzuri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Agustin Valiente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustin Valiente took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Uzuri. Tobias Uzuri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 66th minute Geronimo Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Ihintza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Uzuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Valiente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. East Tandil Union made a substitution. Hernan Nardo replaced Agustin Valiente. Genaro Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Hernan Nardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tobias Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. East Tandil Union's Christian Leguizamón was substituted for Leonardo Jara. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mister Dolphin FC's goalkeeper Tobias Uzuri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Mister Dolphin FC got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Alvarez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Milian in the 90th minute of play forced East Tandil Union's goalkeeper Alonzo Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Geronimo Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Ihintza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mister Dolphin FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
