Narciso Nastasio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Esteve Lapurdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Luisito Chabier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alter Ego and the Culapaligüe players grew even worse after the yellow card. 32 minutes into the match, Alter Ego's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Nastasio came free, but Esteve Lapurdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Emilio Artal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Ivan Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Oliveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Narciso Nastasio made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Alberto Oskarbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Narciso Nastasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ivan Baumar came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Alter Ego fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Baumar couldn't finish the play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Culapaligüe's goalkeeper Jacobo Oliveiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Culapaligüe got a freekick which was hit by Santo Bizi. Luisito Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Culapaligüe booed when Alter Ego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luisito Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Paulo Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Culapaligüe's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Marz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Lapurdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Bizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Culapaligüe's Narciso Nastasio got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Oliveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Culapaligüe players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
