Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raimundo Artizar started the match with the kick off. If Raimundo Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Mecoyita's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Sanduru came free, but Vicente Izotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Eloy Mingo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Baden Powell Sharks booed when Mecoyita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Henrico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Izotz having to interfere. Vicente Izotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Elodio in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Baden Powell Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Txurio to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Baden Powell Sharks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Laffitte to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Artemio Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Domenec having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Raimundo Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mecoyita's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Artizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Domenec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Izotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Sanduru in the 26th minute of play. Angel Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edelmiro Lon got free with Epifanio Domenec in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Fausto Neto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Epifanio Domenec. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Baden Powell Sharks's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Artizar came free, but Epifanio Domenec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raimundo Artizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 41 played minutes Baden Powell Sharks got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Txurio. Epifanio Domenec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Salbatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Angel Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Epifanio Domenec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Elodio to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Anacleto Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baden Powell Sharks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Sanduru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Izotz was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Anacleto Sanduru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anacleto Sanduru really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 58th minute, Augusto Salbatore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Artemio Karlo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Izotz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Epifanio Domenec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Neto in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Anacleto Sanduru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Mecoyita getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Angel Gutxi hit a great ball. Baden Powell Sharks's Epifanio Domenec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Artizar in the 70th minute of play. Santiago Elodio in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vicente Izotz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Angel Gutxi came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Mecoyita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Gutxi couldn't finish the play. Artemio Karlo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Santiago Elodio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baden Powell Sharks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After having played for 84 minutes, Anacleto Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baden Powell Sharks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Sanduru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Epifanio Domenec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Gutxi in the 95th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Baden Powell Sharks's Melchor Weterio got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Baden Powell Sharks players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
