Vicente Izotz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Artizar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Artemio Karlo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vicente Izotz. Mecoyita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Epifanio Domenec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Lon in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Baden Powell Sharks getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Artemio Txurio hit a great ball. Raimundo Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
