Spectators: 7077 (Terracing: 5309, Seating: 1628, VIP seats: 140) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Niceto Tercero took the kick off in the first half of the match. Osvaldo Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elpidio Lando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Dorio in the 5th minute. When Niceto Tercero came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Monsalvo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Tercero couldn't finish the play. 11 minutes into the match, Monsalvo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Ordono came free, but Ezequiel Efren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaston Eguerdi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaston Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Efren having to interfere. Godofredo Ordono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Lando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Tercero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Casimiro Baleren charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Casimiro Baleren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Casimiro Baleren hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Eustacio Dorio might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elpidio Lando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustacio Dorio ran back to his position shaking his head. Blas Chepe charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blas Chepe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 30 minutes into the game, one of Arrutó AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 34 played minutes Arrutó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Gombal. 35 minutes into the match, Arrutó AFC's goalkeeper Elpidio Lando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Dorio. The audience was convinced that Niceto Tercero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Lando was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The supporters of Monsalvo AFC booed when Arrutó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Egun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elpidio Lando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Tercero in the 50th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaston Eguerdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Niceto Tercero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Ordono got free with Ezequiel Efren in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaston Eguerdi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ezequiel Efren. That made the score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. After 66 played minutes Gaston Eguerdi rounded Monsalvo AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. When Simon Gombal fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrutó AFC's protests and gave Simon Gombal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Arrutó AFC's Simon Gombal got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Bruno Mikelats sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arrutó AFC's Elpidio Lando didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Dorio in the 86th minute of play forced Arrutó AFC's goalkeeper Elpidio Lando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrutó AFC's Casimiro Baleren got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Casimiro Baleren off the ground. The supporters of Monsalvo AFC booed when Arrutó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Baleren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustacio Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Elpidio Lando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arrutó AFC's zone, Niceto Tercero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Lando came out of the goal and Niceto Tercero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elpidio Lando came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Monsalvo AFC's Niceto Tercero. But to his dismay, Niceto Tercero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Despite being the better team, Monsalvo AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
