In the 30th minute Lázaro Salvidor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Tome saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. river's Benito Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Bastia in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Gilberto Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Mannie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Dabi got free with Israel Tome in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Crows FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! Marcial Dabi struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Crows FC's zone, Lázaro Salvidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Tome came out of the goal and Lázaro Salvidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to river getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lázaro Salvidor hit a great ball. Israel Tome made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Efraim in the 60th minute of play. river's Lázaro Salvidor got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Mannie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Peca went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the river defense, Gilberto Bastia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Mannie. The river fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Mannie should have stopped the shot. Crows FC made a substitution. Bruno Matthew replaced Rodrigo Caetano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Tercero during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
