In the 17th minute, Monteagudo AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elvio Eliazar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Adan Marino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Lobo was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 23rd minute Ruperto Marino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Eliazar hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Nicanor Marz's late challenge caught a Monteagudo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Marz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Ruperto Marino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francisco Lobo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 31 played minutes Monteagudo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Perpinya. After having played for 34 minutes, Adan Marino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monteagudo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Marino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Stroeder FC defense, Ruperto Marino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Lobo. The Stroeder FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Lobo should have stopped the shot. Cosme Honesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Dimas having to interfere. If Adan Marino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stroeder FC's Francisco Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Marino in the 43rd minute of play. Adan Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Lobo having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cosme Honesto made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Fausto Bieito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisco Lobo. That made the score 0-4 in the 54 minute of play. Francisco Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Marino in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Cosme Honesto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel Dimas. Monteagudo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Honesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Francisco Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Marino in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the game, Cristian Laurendi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francisco Lobo. Cristian Laurendi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Bieito in the 69th minute of play forced Stroeder FC's goalkeeper Francisco Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Stroeder FC's goalkeeper Francisco Lobo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Marino. Francisco Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Marino in the 76th minute of play. Stroeder FC's Francisco Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Marino in the 83rd minute of play.
