Eustacio Shantala went to the cornerflag to take it. 36 minutes into the match, Ranquilón's goalkeeper Lino Polentzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Arias. In the 37th match minute, Ranquilón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. Lino Polentzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Guilabertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Ranquilón's Lino Polentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Guilabertus in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Vermudo to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Simbolar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Bingen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Vermudo in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Confesor saved Simbolar AFC from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Simbolar AFC's goalkeeper Faustino Confesor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Vermudo. Cristian Xabel might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustino Confesor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Xabel ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 62 minutes, Cristian Xabel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranquilón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Xabel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Simbolar AFC booed when Ranquilón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Blasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Faustino Confesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lino Polentzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ariel Bingen in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Ariel Bingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Polentzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Tadeo Eudoxio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lino Polentzi. Ranquilón's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcelo Tartalo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Ranquilón's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Arias came free, but Lino Polentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ranquilón's Cristian Xabel got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ranquilón made a substitution.
