The corner led Pampa Biaggio F.C.'s German Erruki to fire away a dangerous shot which Nestor Berdoi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pepe Biondi's Nestor Berdoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Innocenzio in the 25th minute of play. Nestor Berdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Pampa Biaggio F.C. booed when Pepe Biondi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Innocenzio to make the kick off.
