Spectators: 7125 (Terracing: 5345, Seating: 1639, VIP seats: 141) Chumbicha FC's Eleuterio Bautista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the match, C.A. Caranchos U18's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Bautista came free, but Alberto Veremundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celestino Elodio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Clemencin in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Eleuterio Bautista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chumbicha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29thth minute of the game Eleuterio Bautista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Caranchos U18's Alberto Veremundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eleuterio Bautista took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Veremundo. Alberto Veremundo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 33rd match minute, C.A. Caranchos U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Pintilescu to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Canor charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zeledon Canor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isidro Vigil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Vigil in the 40th minute of play forced C.A. Caranchos U18's goalkeeper Alberto Veremundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Bautista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Alberto Veremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Eleuterio Bautista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Chumbicha FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Clemencin to strike the kick off in the second half. Dario Oskarbi hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, C.A. Caranchos U18's Clemente Clemencin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celestino Elodio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Chumbicha FC's Rolando Oto got a free kick in the 66th minute. C.A. Caranchos U18's Alberto Veremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Bautista in the 69th minute of play. 1-3 became the score in the 74th minute when Eleuterio Bautista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chumbicha FC's Dario Oskarbi got a free kick in the 77th minute. Isidro Vigil's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alberto Veremundo firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Chumbicha FC's Ezequiel Txaran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alberto Veremundo. That made the score 1-5 after 87 minutes of play. Alberto Veremundo stood somewhat misplaced when Eleuterio Bautista came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 96 minute.
