In the 5th minute Isaac Pollock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, FC San Rafael's goalkeeper Sever Sârban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Lekubegi. Sever Sârban made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Marcos Lekubegi sent off a good shot on target. Isaac Pollock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Lauro having to interfere. Marcos Lekubegi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Sever Sârban made a huge save. Mauricio Ramos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Sever Sârban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Victoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Rosario took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sever Sârban. FC San Rafael's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isaac Pollock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sever Sârban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Cilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC San Rafael's Sever Sârban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Lekubegi in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Victoro in the 60th minute of play forced FC San Rafael's goalkeeper Sever Sârban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Pollock in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marciano Lauro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lázaro Cilio was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Sever Sârban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Victoro in the 70th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Inocencio Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Sârban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 played minutes FC San Rafael got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Garikoitz. Isaac Pollock who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Marciano Lauro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcos Lekubegi took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sever Sârban. Sever Sârban dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Inocencio Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, FC San Rafael's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Victoro came free, but Sever Sârban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Isaac Garikoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC San Rafael's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garayalde FC the free kick. If Isaac Pollock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
