A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Aristides Dodorol with Omar Baraquiel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 31 minutes into the match, Modesto Saturnin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carabelas's Nicolas Ignatius. Nicolas Ignatius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximo Tallia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Carabelas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Modesto Saturnin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Arsenio Eztebe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Arnulfo Panpili made a huge save. Arsenio Eztebes short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Arnulfo Panpili to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Leonel Jatsu fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carabelas's protests and gave Leonel Jatsu a yellow card for diving instead. Leonel Jatsu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half MICKY VAINILLA were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arsenio Eztebe to make the kick off. Dalmacio Ofelio's late challenge caught a MICKY VAINILLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Ofelio helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Carabelas got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Ofelio. Modesto Saturnin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Ignatius having to make a save. In the 68th minute, Maximo Tallia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Arsenio Eztebe made a precise shot to the right of Arnulfo Panpili. MICKY VAINILLA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 80th minute Modesto Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the MICKY VAINILLA defense, Maximo Tallia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Panpili. The MICKY VAINILLA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Panpili should have stopped the shot. MICKY VAINILLA's Arnulfo Panpili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Eztebe in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Carabelas's Maximo Tallia made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnulfo Panpili was left in no man's land by his defense there! 91 minutes into the match, MICKY VAINILLA's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Tallia came free, but Arnulfo Panpili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, MICKY VAINILLA's Modesto Saturnin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. MICKY VAINILLA's Arnulfo Panpili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Tallia in the 94th minute of play. Arnulfo Panpili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Eztebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the MICKY VAINILLA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carabelas.
