In the 7th minute, Larroude AFC's Haroldo Bernabel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romeo Cordearo. Romeo Cordearo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nemesio Costante hit a great ball. Guaberto Guillerme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Opilano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Guillerme having to interfere. Osvaldo Opilano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fausto Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Opilano. Romeo Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Nabar in the 31st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Fausto Ledesma made a precise shot to the right of Guaberto Guillerme. Larroude AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The supporters of Larroude AFC booed when Rosario Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Edur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Ledesma got free with Guaberto Guillerme in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Guaberto Edur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Larroude AFC's Guaberto Guillerme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Opilano in the 70th minute of play. Guaberto Guillerme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Ledesma in the 71st minute. If Fausto Ledesma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Ekain hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. When Fausto Ledesma came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Rosario Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Ledesma couldn't finish the play. Guaberto Guillerme made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Fausto Ledesma sent off a good shot on target. Guaberto Guillerme was a little too slow when Osvaldo Opilano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-2. Haroldo Bernabel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Cordearo having to interfere. Rosario Central's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
