After some careless play in the CABA defense, Benedito de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Ekialde. The CABA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Ekialde should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Benedito de Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aldo Ekialde was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Aldo Ekialde didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gondwana FC's Eugenio Frichoso shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. CABA's Aldo Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito de Souza in the 18th minute of play. Aldo Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Benedito de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Jordy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Ekialde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Transito went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedito de Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CABA's zone, Benedito de Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aldo Ekialde came out of the goal and Benedito de Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. CABA's Aldo Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedito de Souza in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Marco Txaran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CABA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gondwana FC the free kick. In the 56th match minute, CABA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Txaran to maneuver through the defense. Benedito de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raimundo Santiago during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raimundo Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Benedito de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gondwana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedito de Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Ekialde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raimundo Santiago was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CABA! In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Gondwana FC. Ciro Transito stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aldo Ekialde. 0-5. Benedito de Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aldo Ekialde having to make a save. Eugenio Frichoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Aldo Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gondwana FC's Benedito de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aldo Ekialde. That made the score 0-6 after 75 minutes of play. If Benedito de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, CABA's Eleuterio Indar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. If Benedito de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, CABA's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Transito came free, but Aldo Ekialde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute of the match Gondwana FC got a corner. CABA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciro Transito ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ciro Transito almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CABA's Aldo Ekialde did a great save. Benedito de Souza scored 0-8 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Ekialde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 98th minute Eugenio Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Gondwana FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CABA throughout the match.
