Ambrosio Raulo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Camilo Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Feo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Quinteros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ambrosio Raulo, 2-0. Carlos Casomiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ambrosio Raulo could save by the left post. Ermegildo Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Raulo having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ermegildo Quinteros to strike the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Quinteros might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ambrosio Raulo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Carmen fans cheered their team off the field, for while Conchitas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
