Cosme Pirmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Gaxan having to interfere. Fermin Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Gaxan having to interfere. Zapala's Baldomiro Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Chepe in the 7th minute of play. Lisandro Chepe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Defensa y Justicia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Defensa y Justicia's Cosme Pirmin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Justino Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, Zapala's Dionisio Oto got a free kick in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Cucao kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baldomiro Gaxan. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Lisandro Chepe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Baldomiro Gaxan came out and tried to block the shot, but Lisandro Chepe slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 24th minute. Defensa y Justicia's Fermin Gerazan got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teo Aurken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Justino Jaen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Defensa y Justicia got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Ayala. Feliberto Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Jaen having to interfere. Lisandro Chepe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 45 minutes, Delmar Urtun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zapala and the Defensa y Justicia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Delmar Urtun hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Albino Constancio's late challenge caught a Defensa y Justicia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Constancio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zapala's Albino Constancio got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Feliberto Bixintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Jaen having to interfere. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapala's goalkeeper Baldomiro Gaxan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cosme Pirmin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Baldomiro Gaxan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Francisco Cucao fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensa y Justicia's protests and gave Francisco Cucao a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Zapala:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defensa y Justicia:s goal. Baldomiro Gaxan went to the wrong direction when Serafin Corderro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Justino Jaen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Bixintxo in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Defensa y Justicia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Cucao to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 97 minutes, Feliberto Bixintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Bixintxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Defensa y Justicia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
