When Ugaitz Aramberri came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Deportivo Kulturama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ugaitz Aramberri couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ugaitz Aramberri in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lázaro Herena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Isidro Clemencin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ugaitz Aramberri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Efrain Oxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ugaitz Aramberri came free, but Lázaro Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Herena made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Isidro Clemencin sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Kulturama's Benjamin Quexal got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ugaitz Aramberri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lázaro Herena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Mosen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ugaitz Aramberri in the 70th minute of play forced SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C.'s goalkeeper Lázaro Herena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ugaitz Aramberri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lázaro Herena came out and tried to block the shot, but Ugaitz Aramberri slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 72nd minute. Lázaro Herena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugaitz Aramberri in the 79th minute of the match. Geronimo Isauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo Kulturama made a substitution. Elpidio Nel replaced Isidro Clemencin. Deportivo Kulturama's Wilfredo Medina was substituted for Anier Fagildo. Deportivo Kulturama's Rocco Odisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Isauro in the 87th minute of play. Ugaitz Aramberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lázaro Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SUPER BOCA JUNIORS F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Deportivo Kulturama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
