After 8 minutes, Ramiro Tiso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milagro and the Club Colón de San Justo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jon Spagnol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Quinteros in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Colón de San Justo booed when Milagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Jean Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Colón de San Justo's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Rius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rigoberto Rius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean Recife's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Quinteros was the one to do the kick off. If Prudencio Resto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Colón de San Justo's Maximiliano Lamberto got a free kick in the 79th minute. Rigoberto Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Lamberto in the 81st minute of play. Maximiliano Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Maximiliano Lamberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Rius having to interfere. Club Colón de San Justo's Jon Spagnol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Quinteros in the 93rd minute of play. Club Colón de San Justo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
