Mauro Loi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute Esteban Eate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Albiazul's zone, Ernesto Igon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Lehior came out of the goal and Ernesto Igon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Crescencio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Francesco during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Iguassu's Anier Francesco got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ernesto Igon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iguassu's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Igon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Lehior breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Albiazul walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
