The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alonzo Stanislao during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Atlas Football Club 5 got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Stanislao. Domingos Erasto struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Roscoe Rosas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario ES Central. In the 10th minute, Sebastião Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlas Football Club 5's Roscoe Rosas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Erasto in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Rosario ES Central got a corner. Atlas Football Club 5's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armando Simone ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rosario ES Central's Victor Abaunza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sebastião Nunes, made in the 17th minute of the game. In the 20th minute, Rosario ES Central's Manuel Uxio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manuel Uxio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rosario ES Central protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manuel Uxio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Roscoe Rosas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Erasto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Rosario ES Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ye Xuan to maneuver through the defense. When Don Riquelme came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Rosario ES Central fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Don Riquelme couldn't finish the play. Domingos Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Domingos Erasto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario ES Central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Erasto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Atlas Football Club 5 getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Eleuterio Mel hit a great ball. Domingos Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Don Riquelme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosario ES Central's supporters rose to their feet, but Don Riquelme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roscoe Rosas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingos Erasto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ye Xuan during the 44th minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Erasto to make the kick off. Victor Abaunza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roscoe Rosas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Don Riquelme got free with Roscoe Rosas in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Domingos Erasto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Atlas Football Club 5 booed when Rosario ES Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ye Xuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Domingos Erasto fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosario ES Central's protests and gave Domingos Erasto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Rosario ES Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Erasto to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute of the match Sebastião Nunes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Lefevre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rosario ES Central's Ye Xuan got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roscoe Rosas was a little too slow when Victor Abaunza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-1. Ye Xuan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Roscoe Rosas came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario ES Central's Domingos Erasto. But to his dismay, Domingos Erasto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Don Riquelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roscoe Rosas having to interfere. Camilo Garaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Rafael Lefevre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Atlas Football Club 5 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rosario ES Central were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
