Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benicio Bertran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Frantzes having to interfere. Benicio Bertran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Jumial fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Jumial's Santiago Maraman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the match, Danilo Mikelats dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvano Guillelme, 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Jumial's Dionisio Eguerdi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mario Frantzes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Canor got free with Silvano Guillelme in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 minutes, Oscar Froylan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jumial and the Villa Nueva FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jumial's Oscar Froylan got a free kick in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Mikelats in the 32nd minute of play forced Jumial's goalkeeper Silvano Guillelme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Villa Nueva FC's Danilo Mikelats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Guillelme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Oscar Froylan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Guillelme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Mikelats in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Mauro Tanio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvano Guillelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Patrido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro Tanio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Mikelats made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Nueva FC's zone, Dionisio Eguerdi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Frantzes came out of the goal and Dionisio Eguerdi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Frantzes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Maraman's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Dionisio Eguerdi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Frantzes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dionisio Eguerdi in the 58th minute. Benicio Bertran might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Frantzes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benicio Bertran ran back to his position shaking his head. If Santiago Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Gerardo Confesor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Guillelme was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Villa Nueva FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santiago Maraman 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-3. Santiago Maraman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Frantzes having to make a save. Silvano Guillelme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danilo Mikelats in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Villa Nueva FC's Mario Frantzes got control of the ball when Santiago Maraman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dionisio Eguerdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Mario Frantzes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Villa Nueva FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Patrido. Villa Nueva FC's Mario Frantzes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Nueva FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Jumial players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
