The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Marcelo Gergori made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pedernal's Calle Busk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 10 played minutes Pedernal got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Cortez. Calle Busk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Markel in the 14th minute of the match. Calle Busk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Gergori showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 18 minute of play. Duda dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Marcelo Gergori struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Calle Busk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Gate S.F. Julian Markel might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calle Busk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Markel ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Pedernal booed when Golden Gate S.F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Markel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Julian Markel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Gate S.F's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Markel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Busk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 minutes, Paulo Iigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedernal and the Golden Gate S.F players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pedernal's Paulo Iigo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Vecdet Uludoğan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Golden Gate S.F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedernal the free kick. Vecdet Uludoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Guifre made a kick off. Calle Busk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Gergori, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Velasco during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Pedernal got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Iigo. A collision led to Golden Gate S.F getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Constantino Resto hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Markel in the 82nd minute of play forced Pedernal's goalkeeper Calle Busk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Markel struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Calle Busk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Gate S.F. Julian Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Pedernal's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Gergori came free, but Calle Busk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Golden Gate S.F players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
