The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Isias during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rodrigo Bernal struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Faustino Mendebal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cano AFC. Cano AFC's Juan Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Modestio in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Cano AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ruperto Bernad hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Andres Modestio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Montez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Salvador Iratxo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Juan Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapso. Faustino Mendebal made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Jairo Frichoso sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 24 in the game by Raul Tano from a close distance when the talented Faustino Mendebal managed to make a qualified save. Tapso's players were relieved. When Raul Tano came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Cano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Tano couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Estebe in the 33rd minute of play forced Tapso's goalkeeper Faustino Mendebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tiadoro in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Cano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Mendebal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Tano's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 44th match minute, Tapso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Iratxo to maneuver through the defense. Raul Tano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Faustino Mendebal made a huge save. The Cano AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tapso were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Tano to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Andres Modestio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Florinio hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The Cano AFC fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Cano AFC's Raul Tano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Tapso getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Andres Modestio hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Juan Montez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Tapso's Victoriano Osmundo got a free kick in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Tano in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Mendebal saved Tapso from getting behind. In the 72nd minute, Moises Tiadoro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Montez. The goal made the score 3-4. After 75 played minutes Tapso got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Florinio. Raul Tano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Faustino Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Mendebal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Cayetano Isias got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 79 minutes into the game, one of Tapso:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Tapso's Moises Tiadoro got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Sixto Estebe came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Cano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Estebe couldn't finish the play. Andres Modestio charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Modestio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cano AFC booed when Tapso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Modestio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Tano in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Mendebal saved Tapso from getting behind. If Salvador Iratxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
