Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Eugenio Lizardi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Aurelio Diegotxe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eugenio Lizardi came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurelio Diegotxe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Garayalde's Aurelio Diegotxe got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guayquiraró's Eugenio Lizardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Guayquiraró from getting a goal against them. Guayquiraró's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Aurelio Diegotxe scored to the left of an out of position Eugenio Lizardi, making the score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Garayalde's Florentino Xabel got a free kick in the 25th minute. Anıl Hicab kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Guayquiraró's Eugenio Lizardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Diegotxe in the 30th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Guayquiraró got a freekick which was hit by Chedli Khcharem. In the 38thth minute of the game Aurelio Diegotxe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guayquiraró's Eugenio Lizardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Guayquiraró's goal looked a bit too open when Anıl Hicab came free, but Eugenio Lizardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Hicab in the 41st minute of play forced Guayquiraró's goalkeeper Eugenio Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Guayquiraró's Chedli Khcharem got a free kick in the 41st minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Diegotxe made a kick off. Eugenio Lizardi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anıl Hicab went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Guayquiraró's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anıl Hicab was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Guayquiraró's Leonel Fernandez was substituted for Filiberto Mannuel. In the 86th match minute, Guayquiraró was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Lehior to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Florentino Xabel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Lizardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Lizardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Diegotxe in the 90th minute of the match. Eugenio Lizardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anıl Hicab, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Eugenio Lizardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Diegotxe in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Garayalde's zone, Ramiro Pello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Orain came out of the goal and Ramiro Pello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garayalde's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
