Guayquiraró's Eugenio Lizardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Nilsson in the 5th minute of play. Armando Christobal charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Christobal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atucha FC booed when Guayquiraró was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Christobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Guayquiraró's Chedli Khcharem got a free kick in the 9th minute. Eugenio Lizardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Herrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Guayquiraró defense, Tono Valenciano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Lizardi. The Guayquiraró fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Lizardi should have stopped the shot. Ramiro Pello kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Eugenio Lizardi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hans Nilsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. After some careless play in the Guayquiraró defense, Ariel Isauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Lizardi. The Guayquiraró fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Lizardi should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Tono Valenciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atucha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guayquiraró the free kick. Tono Valenciano kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When Jacinto Lehior came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Guayquiraró fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Lehior couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Lizardi was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Hans Nilsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hans Nilsson really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Hans Nilsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Lizardi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hans Nilsson ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Nilsson in the 46th minute of play forced Guayquiraró's goalkeeper Eugenio Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Guayquiraró's Eugenio Lizardi got control of the ball when Ariel Isauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tono Valenciano to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tono Valenciano in the 54th minute of play forced Guayquiraró's goalkeeper Eugenio Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Lizardi came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Atucha FC's Hans Nilsson. But to his dismay, Hans Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 58 minutes into the match, Tono Valenciano notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Guayquiraró's Eugenio Lizardi. Eugenio Lizardi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 63 minutes of play, Atucha FC's Tono Valenciano made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Lizardi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eugenio Lizardi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tono Valenciano went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Isauro in the 79th minute of play forced Guayquiraró's goalkeeper Eugenio Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
