When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gabriel Frechoso took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Wilfredo Ipar to make any attempt to save it. 17 minutes into the match, Otamendi's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Quinto came free, but Laureano Caton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Laureano Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgilio Quinto took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Caton. Laureano Caton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wladyslaw Konopka in the 24th minute of play forced Otamendi's goalkeeper Laureano Caton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Walme took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Caton. Laureano Caton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 31st minute, Elias Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Guido Aresti came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Otamendi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Aresti couldn't finish the play.
