Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gavino Efraim in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Shearer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Gavino Efraim put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jim Shearer. After 26 minutes, Astor George mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bermejo AFC and the Liverpool FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Oscar Rik got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hermengildo Erroman made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Vidal Freije sent off a good shot on target. Bermejo AFC's Jim Shearer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavino Efraim in the 31st minute of play. Liverpool FC's Armando Frasco got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bermejo AFC's Silvestre Ubendu got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Gavino Efraim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Efraim in the 44th minute of play forced Bermejo AFC's goalkeeper Jim Shearer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Efraim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Jim Shearer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bermejo AFC's Jim Shearer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Bermejo AFC from getting a goal against them.
