After some careless play in the River Plate de Ramos defense, Elvio Ortle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Eder. The River Plate de Ramos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Eder should have stopped the shot. Elvio Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Eder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Ortle in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Tadeo Sotero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate de Ramos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amapola the free kick. The supporters of Amapola booed when River Plate de Ramos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvio Ortle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Prospero Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes River Plate de Ramos got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Venceslao. In the 44th minute Elvio Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvio Ortle to strike the kick off in the second half. If Hermengildo Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hector Eguerdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo George, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Tolino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Eder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elvio Ortle, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Aaron Eder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Ortle in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Amapola booed when River Plate de Ramos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amapola's Elvio Ortle got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermengildo Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Elvio Ortle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aaron Eder. That made the score 0-4 in the 83 minute of play. River Plate de Ramos's Aaron Eder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Ortle in the 87th minute of play. If Elvio Ortle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes in the game, Elvio Ortle dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When the match was over Amapola could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than River Plate de Ramos throughout the match.
