Bernardo Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Maidana was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Edelmiro Marko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edelmiro Marko really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, Sauce's Agustin Maidana got control of the ball when Edelmiro Marko tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Sauce getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Federico Savier hit a great ball. Agustin Maidana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Ubendu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Maidana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Marko, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Lucas Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Corbu in the 20th minute of play. Lucas Nabar came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sauce's Jimeno Crespo. But to his dismay, Jimeno Crespo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Hannover 1985's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Corbu came free, but Lucas Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Corbu in the 35th minute of play. Lê Corbu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Lucas Nabar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hannover 1985 defense, Lê Corbu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Nabar. The Hannover 1985 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Nabar should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jimeno Crespo struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lucas Nabar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauce. Lucas Nabar came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Sauce's Saul Boniel. But to his dismay, Saul Boniel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 60 minutes into the match, Hannover 1985's goalkeeper Lucas Nabar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimeno Crespo. Hannover 1985's Lucas Nabar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Hannover 1985 from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Edelmiro Marko made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Maidana. Sauce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Boniel in the 74th minute of play forced Hannover 1985's goalkeeper Lucas Nabar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Marko hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Jimeno Crespo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Sauce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimeno Crespo couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Hannover 1985's goal looked a bit too open when Lê Corbu came free, but Lucas Nabar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Nabar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Corbu in the 79th minute of play. Edelmiro Marko kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Antonio Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Bernardo Gimenez made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Maidana. Sauce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. When the match was over Sauce could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hannover 1985 throughout the match.
