After having played for 52 minutes, Zack Whatman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wally Obras Pluviales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zack Whatman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Detroit's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Celedonio Rodas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Celedonio Rodas came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Wally Obras Pluviales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Rodas couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Detroit's zone, Silverio Eusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Joachim came out of the goal and Silverio Eusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celedonio Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wally Obras Pluviales made a substitution. Gogo Tercero replaced Leonel Froylan. Silverio Eusko scored 0-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddy Joachim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Wally Obras Pluviales booed when Detroit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Joachim having to interfere. Wally Obras Pluviales's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
