Club Atletico Uvita Salto's Fausto Toli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Cruz in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Villa San Antonio's zone, Emanuel George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Valery came out of the goal and Emanuel George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Manny to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Santo Cutberto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Villa San Antonio's Guido Valery. Guido Valery was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dario Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Villa San Antonio's Modesto Cordarell got a free kick in the 61st minute. Guillermo Macias scored 1-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Toli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dario Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Wilfredo Eneto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erubiel Dalmai scored 2-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Toli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
