The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ambrosio Ciceron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Jurdan having to interfere. Oscar Gamus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Zeledon Jurdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Jurdan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. When Horacio Paskal came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the LOS GURISES F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Paskal couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Ciceron's late challenge caught a LOS GURISES F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrosio Ciceron helped the player get up and apologised. Ambrosio Ciceron kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ambrosio Ciceron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zeledon Jurdan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LOS GURISES F.C's Zeledon Jurdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Gamus in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute Oscar Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Jurdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Gamus scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Jurdan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Horacio Paskal came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the LOS GURISES F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Paskal couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Serafin Abeita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Horacio Paskal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saturnino Ioritz. LEONIDAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horacio Paskal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ambrosio Ciceron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horacio Paskal in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Ioritz saved LEONIDAS from getting behind. Celedonio Urtsua kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, LOS GURISES F.C's Sergio Paublo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of LEONIDAS booed when LOS GURISES F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Paskal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ambrosio Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot. LEONIDAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Ciceron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Jurdan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LEONIDAS's Cornelio Romildo was substituted for Melchor Medardo. In the 75th minute Oscar Gamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Jurdan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Jurdan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Gamus in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, LOS GURISES F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Gamus came free, but Zeledon Jurdan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Sergio Paublo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LEONIDAS's Baldomero Aragones was substituted for Oscar Gamus. In the 83rd match minute, LOS GURISES F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Paublo to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Jurdan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Aragones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Santio's late challenge caught a LEONIDAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Santio helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes LOS GURISES F.C got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Santio. Zeledon Jurdan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Aragones's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, LEONIDAS's Baldomero Aragones dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
