After a rather tough play, Leonel V's Zbyszko Franzik got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 17 played minutes Leonel V got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszko Franzik. Humberto Filipo struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Rolando Feliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monserrat. Zbyszko Franzik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zbyszko Franzik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Paolo Venceslas made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Leonel V's Zbyszko Franzik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Venceslas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rolando Feliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Pierres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Vachon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Paolo Venceslas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Simon Lonzo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 39 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rolando Feliu was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Leonel V getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nicolas Ignatius hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Leonel V's Zbyszko Franzik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paolo Venceslas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Monserrat's Manuel Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venancio Pierres's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rolando Feliu firmly grabbed it by the left post.
