Inácio Martins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Raul Paz made a huge save. Anibal Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Erramun in the 8th minute of play. Anibal Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Lluterio in the 9th minute of the match. If Inácio Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Diablero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Erramun came free, but Anibal Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 played minutes Diablero FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Elazar. Anibal Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Erramun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st match minute, Diablero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Markel to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Eduardo Erramun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Cristobal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Erramun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roman Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Azevedo having to interfere. Inácio Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Lluterio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Inácio Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anibal Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Frutos in the 37th minute of play. San Cristobal's Raul Paz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save San Cristobal from getting a goal against them. Diablero FC's Leonardo Orlo suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Siro Frutos fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Cristobal's protests and gave Siro Frutos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, San Cristobal's Eduardo Erramun got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Anibal Azevedo was a little too slow when Eduardo Erramun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-1. Diablero FC's attentive Pastor Markel managed to snatch the ball when Elvio Jordy made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. In the 56th minute Eduardo Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Mosen in the 59th minute. Anibal Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Erramun in the 60th minute of the match. San Cristobal's Amado Mosen got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Diablero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Lluterio came free, but Anibal Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Mosen took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anibal Azevedo. Anibal Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Roman Lluterio took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Anibal Azevedo to make any attempt to save it. Roman Lluterio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Anibal Azevedo made a huge save. Anibal Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Lluterio in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Erramun in the 82nd minute of play forced Diablero FC's goalkeeper Anibal Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Diablero FC's Anibal Azevedo got control of the ball when Roman Lluterio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diablero FC's Anibal Azevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Diablero FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Jordy in the 88th minute of play forced Diablero FC's goalkeeper Anibal Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hilario Ignazio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raul Paz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Ignazio in the 92nd minute of play forced San Cristobal's goalkeeper Raul Paz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Pastor Markel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diablero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Cristobal the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Diablero FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Anibal Azevedo, was totally fooled by San Cristobal's Cesar Celino, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
