Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Teobaldo Torres made the kick off and thus started the match. Filiberto Shantala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Morón AFC's goalkeeper Efrain Xabier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Hever. Patricio Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ascensión FC's Gaston Arnas got a free kick in the 12th minute. Isaias Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 played minutes Morón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Moises Romero. Isaias Hever could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Efrain Xabier made a huge save. In the 19th match minute, Ascensión FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. When Morón AFC's Teobaldo Torres in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ascensión FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Morón AFC booed when Ascensión FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Ignacio Balasi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patricio Araoz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Patricio Araoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Torres's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Efrain Xabier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Hever in the 26th minute. Isaias Hever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Xabier having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Morón AFC's goalkeeper Efrain Xabier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Hever. Froilan Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Efrain Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Haritz in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remigio Haritz made a kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Ascensión FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Torres came free, but Patricio Araoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Isaias Hever notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Morón AFC's Efrain Xabier. Efrain Xabier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Araoz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Torres's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ascensión FC's zone, Teobaldo Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Araoz came out of the goal and Teobaldo Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ascensión FC's Isaias Hever got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute Remigio Haritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Araoz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rene Lixandro. After 83 minutes, Teobaldo Torres made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ascensión FC's Patricio Araoz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Araoz having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 89th minute when Filiberto Shantala elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Morón AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
