Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chipiscú's Artem Tverdyuk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ascensión FC's Patricio Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artem Tverdyuk in the 12th minute of play. With 14 minutes on the clock, Gaudencio Gelacio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Leonides Rameriz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Hechter kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Thor Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Toli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Hever in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigio Haritz to strike the kick off in the second half. When Leonides Rameriz fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ascensión FC's protests and gave Leonides Rameriz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ascensión FC's Leonides Rameriz got a free kick in the 55th minute. Patricio Araoz was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Alfredo Guarda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfredo Guarda really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Domingo Toli came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ascensión FC's Isaias Hever. But to his dismay, Isaias Hever quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chipiscú fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! When Chipiscú's Alfredo Guarda in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ascensión FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 78 played minutes Ascensión FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Cebrian. 82 minutes into the match, Leonides Rameriz notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Chipiscú's Domingo Toli. Domingo Toli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remigio Haritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Thor Hellström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patricio Araoz. Thor Hellström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. In the 96th minute, Adrian Geleberto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Patricio Araoz, passed just outside the right post. Leonides Rameriz hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Chipiscú players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
