A hard shot 3 in the game by Marek Šofranko from a close distance when the talented David Dimas managed to make a qualified save. Karanka's players were relieved. Francisco Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tartagal AFC's Vicente Kelemen in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Tartagal AFC's Vicente Kelemen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Dimas. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Nemesio Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Vicente Kelemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. David Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alojz Mitrenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes, Vicente Kelemen made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Karanka's David Dimas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lisandro Beltran kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Karanka's Gualterio Luken got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Igor Fix, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 35 minutes in the game, Marek Šofranko dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Marek Šofranko in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Dimas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Karanka's David Dimas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Kelemen in the 38th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Marek Šofranko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving David Dimas. That made the score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lisandro Beltran made the kick off in the second half. David Dimas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Kelemen in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th match minute, Karanka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Beltran to maneuver through the defense. Marek Šofranko took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Dimas. David Dimas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Kelemen in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Dimas saved Karanka from getting behind. After 66 minutes, Celso Roland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karanka and the Tartagal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tartagal AFC booed when Karanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Kelemen in the 67th minute of play forced Karanka's goalkeeper David Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Dimas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vicente Kelemen went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 82nd minute, one of Karanka:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karanka. David Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Fix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tartagal AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lisandro Beltran 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 6-1. After 98 minutes of play, Tartagal AFC's Alojz Mitrenga made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Dimas was left in no man's land by his defense there!
