The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Javier Remicio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Manny was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A sloppy throw-in by Damazy Brack in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club atletico Guemes's Artemio Iturri. Hugo Manny was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ignacio Corderun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. A hard shot 23 in the game by Javier Remicio from a close distance when the talented Hugo Manny managed to make a qualified save. Club atletico Guemes's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Damian Serapio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Gatti was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 37th match minute, GRANACAPO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Song Yun Xun to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Remicio got free with Hugo Manny in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 41 minutes, Leonardo Ponzio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GRANACAPO and the Club atletico Guemes players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to GRANACAPO getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Leonardo Ponzio hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damian Serapio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Javier Remicio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Manny having to interfere. Hugo Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Remicio in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Club atletico Guemes getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Damian Serapio hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Leonardo Ponzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GRANACAPO's Javier Remicio got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Nicolas Katia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Manny. Club atletico Guemes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolas Katia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 77 played minutes GRANACAPO got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Ponzio. Hugo Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Remicio in the 80th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes Club atletico Guemes got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Iturri. 90 minutes into the match, Javier Remicio notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Club atletico Guemes's Hugo Manny. Hugo Manny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hugo Manny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Corderun in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Javier Remicio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GRANACAPO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. There was no doubt that GRANACAPO were the better team. GRANACAPO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
