Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Copacabana FC's Guillermo Maria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Copacabana FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Fernendo. If Amador Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guillermo Maria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baltasar Gonsalvo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchor Naldo in the 6th minute. After 10 minutes, Joaquin Modestio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Copacabana FC and the El toque FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joaquin Modestio kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Copacabana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Milian came free, but Daryl Fordham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Copacabana FC booed when El toque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Naldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Chayo kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Herminio Rito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daryl Fordham. Copacabana FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daryl Fordham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Milian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Copacabana FC's Guillermo Maria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baltasar Gonsalvo. Baltasar Gonsalvo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Aquilino Milian made the kick off in the second half. El toque FC's Baltasar Gonsalvo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Maria in the 56th minute of play. Horacio Garin's late challenge caught a El toque FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Garin helped the player get up and apologised. Guillermo Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Gonsalvo having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Copacabana FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Modestio. Eulalio Pasqual, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Primitivo Honesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Fordham having to interfere. Aquilino Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Daryl Fordham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daryl Fordham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Milian in the 84th minute of the match. With a little luck, Copacabana FC's Daryl Fordham got control of the ball when Primitivo Honesto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute Aquilino Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daryl Fordham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Gavino Natal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El toque FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Copacabana FC the free kick. Gavino Natal hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind El toque FC's goalkeeper Baltasar Gonsalvo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aquilino Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daryl Fordham having to interfere.
