After 4 minutes, Gerardo Errando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boga Team and the Avellaneda es del Rojo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Boga Team getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gerardo Errando hit a great ball. Tomás Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Arnau in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Gerardo Errando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Kaiet, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodosio Clementi got free with Tomás Gaufred in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Avellaneda es del Rojo FC's Tadeo Poz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tomás Gaufred but with some difficulty. After 26 minutes, Israel Geleberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avellaneda es del Rojo FC and the Boga Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, Israel Geleberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Pero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Kaiet's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Melchor Rio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Gaufred came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Avellaneda es del Rojo FC's Baldomero Maidana. But to his dismay, Baldomero Maidana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 45th minute, Lorenzo Kaiet made a precise shot to the right of Federico Pero. Avellaneda es del Rojo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vladimiro Arnau made a kick off. Roque Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Tomás Gaufred tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Boga Team got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Errando. 59 minutes into the match, Boga Team's Lorenzo Kaiet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Pero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lorenzo Kaiet struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Federico Pero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boga Team. 72 minutes into the match, Teodosio Clementi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Boga Team's Tomás Gaufred. Tomás Gaufred was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute Vladimiro Arnau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Pero made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lorenzo Kaiet sent off a good shot on target. Boga Team's Lorenzo Kaiet got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boga Team's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Avellaneda es del Rojo FC had won, even though Boga Team had held more of the ball.
