Spectators: 7183 (Terracing: 5389, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristo Llope started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Leizarraga in the 8th minute of play forced Latero FC's goalkeeper Domingo Sabin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Omar Benattia could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Domingo Sabin however easily saved by the left post. A.A Estudiantes de Río IV's Severiano Berto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leon Oxarra, made in the 15th minute of the game. In the 24th minute Cristo Llope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Sabin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Nestor Mancio in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.A Estudiantes de Río IV's Delmar Hulberto. Domingo Sabin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A.A Estudiantes de Río IV's attentive Severiano Berto managed to snatch the ball when Nestor Mancio made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Cristo Llope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute of the game Nestor Mancio made a throw-in which Honorato Edorta played forward. Domingo Sabin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristo Llope went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Latero FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, A.A Estudiantes de Río IV's Enzo Jesco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Domingo Sabin. 47 minutes into the game, Niceto Leizarraga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.A Estudiantes de Río IV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Latero FC the free kick. Niceto Leizarraga hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aldo Lizardi to make the kick off. Domingo Sabin came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by A.A Estudiantes de Río IV's Cristo Llope. But to his dismay, Cristo Llope quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Domingo Sabin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Llope in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th match minute, A.A Estudiantes de Río IV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to A.A Estudiantes de Río IV getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Enzo Jesco hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Cristo Llope ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Sabin was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Cristo Llope's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Sabin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Llope in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Sabin saved Latero FC from getting behind. 91 minutes into the game, David Chaime was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Latero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.A Estudiantes de Río IV the free kick. A collision led to Latero FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. David Chaime hit a great ball. Enzo Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Sabin having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Llope in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Sabin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.A Estudiantes de Río IV's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
