Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Braulio Rufo got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Vladimiro Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Argider in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Mero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Chano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Gauargi in the 7th minute. Braulio Rufo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Mateo Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gervasio Lleir fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Patronato FC's protests and gave Gervasio Lleir a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Braulio Rufo during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Braulio Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute Ettore Coco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Ichipuca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Rufo to maneuver through the defense. Mateo Chano made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Maximiliano Gauargi sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Patronato FC's goalkeeper Mateo Chano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Gauargi.

The wind increased when Ettore Coco made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ichipuca's zone, Zeledon Argider stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Mero came out of the goal and Zeledon Argider tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patronato FC's Ettore Coco got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Aureliano Calisto came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Ichipuca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureliano Calisto couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Ettore Coco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Mero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 58th minute of the match Braulio Rufo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Braulio Rufo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 59th minute, Braulio Rufo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ichipuca's zone, Ettore Coco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Mero came out of the goal and Ettore Coco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ichipuca's Horacio George got a free kick in the 64th minute. Zeledon Argider could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Marciano Mero made a huge save. Zeledon Argider received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Marciano Mero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Marciano Mero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Patronato FC booed when Ichipuca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Argider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mateo Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
