Spectators: 6989 (Terracing: 5345, Seating: 1639, VIP seats: 5) Joel Asteri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Cristo Lluterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Basurero Querido's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Progresso FC the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Basurero Querido was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Lluterio to maneuver through the defense. Israel Boniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Asteri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Tonete, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Progresso FC booed when Basurero Querido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Ralondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Videl having to interfere. A collision led to Basurero Querido getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ahmet Hafiz Acaröz hit a great ball. Santo Hitzeder struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Edgard Videl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Progresso FC. Joel Asteri charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Asteri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Basurero Querido got a freekick which was hit by Joel Asteri. 46 minutes into the match, Joel Asteri notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Progresso FC's Israel Boniel. Israel Boniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Tiso during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joel Asteri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Israel Boniel having to make a save. After 60 played minutes Basurero Querido got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Hafiz Acaröz. In the 76th minute, Lázaro Izotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lázaro Izotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Progresso FC's Lorenzo Ralondo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Basurero Querido getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lázaro Izotz hit a great ball. Basurero Querido played a much better game than Progresso FC and deserved their victory. The Progresso FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
