After 9 played minutes, CAPITAN PILUSO's Alejandro Leheren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fulgencio Santiago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CAPITAN PILUSO reached it. Albino Gabino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Rivas struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Daniel Iigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chovet FC. Enrique Rivas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Iigo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Marcelo Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chovet FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Iigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, CAPITAN PILUSO's Daniel Iigo got control of the ball when Enrique Rivas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Enrique Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Iigo having to interfere. Daniel Iigo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Rivas's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Chovet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christoffer Ahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Iigo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jonathan Nascimento. In the 45th minute, Marcelo Galo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonzalo Monico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Rivas in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Iigo saved CAPITAN PILUSO from getting behind. After 60 minutes, Enrique Rivas made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. CAPITAN PILUSO's Daniel Iigo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoffer Ahlberg during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of CAPITAN PILUSO booed when Chovet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Ahlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Iigo having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Enrique Rivas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chovet FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The referee ignored CAPITAN PILUSO's protests and gave Albino Gabino a yellow card for diving instead. Chovet FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAPITAN PILUSO the free kick. After 95 played minutes CAPITAN PILUSO got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Presebal. When the referee ended the match the Chovet FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
