Aaron Llorienzo kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Fausto Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Acosta having to interfere. Leonides Txartiko hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Mauro Duardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Eduardo Urre made a huge save. In the 22nd minute Fausto Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Acosta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Duardo in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Justino Fanuco notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Ticosis FC's Eduardo Urre. Eduardo Urre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Kristian Furseth in the 38th minute of play forced El Ridiculo Football Club's goalkeeper Filiberto Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Blasi in the 40th minute of play. El Ridiculo Football Club's Filiberto Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Peter in the 45th minute of play. If Fausto Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alejandro Balasi to make the kick off. Eduardo Urre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Balasi in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Saturnino Blasi made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Urre. Ticosis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 66 played minutes El Ridiculo Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Balasi. In the 67th minute of the match Federico Saturnin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiberto Acosta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Kristian Furseth in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Acosta saved El Ridiculo Football Club from getting behind. Nunez Errolan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Urre having to interfere. When Justino Fanuco fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Ridiculo Football Club's protests and gave Justino Fanuco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Ridiculo Football Club getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Justino Fanuco hit a great ball. The long shot by Fausto Peter in the 76th minute really tested Filiberto Acosta's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 80th minute Alejandro Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Urre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hans-Kristian Furseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Urre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Ticosis FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
