With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Sendoa in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faudel Soulard saved Yacuchirí from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prospero Chabier in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Lluciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Javier Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Tximitx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Lluciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. If Prospero Chabier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Javier Sendoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prospero Chabier was the one to do the kick off.
