Caranchos's Fausto Lucado got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Generoso Eguerdi during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Triperos's Generoso Eguerdi got a free kick in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fausto Lucado got free with Ubaldo Oriol in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd match minute, Caranchos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Marin to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Savier's late challenge caught a Caranchos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Savier helped the player get up and apologised. Caranchos's Honorio Atarrabi was substituted for Dionisio Natanael. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Lucado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Caranchos's Vicente Oto got a free kick in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, Caranchos's Adriana Iaki got control of the ball when Generoso Eguerdi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Gustavo Tirso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes, Triperos's Nicanor Savier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adriana Iaki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Triperos reached it. Caranchos's Gustavo Tirso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ubaldo Oriol in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Triperos booed when Caranchos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Nicanor Savier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adriana Iaki skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Crispo in the 96th minute of play forced Caranchos's goalkeeper Adriana Iaki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Triperos players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Caranchos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
